The Preferred Veteran Trophy

At their May meeting, the BCCA Board voted to approve the agility committee's proposal to establish an annual award for Beardies competing in the Preferred classes. This award will go to the top veteran dog, 7 years of age or older during the entire competition year, for performance in both Preferred Standard and Jumpers with Weaves. As with all the agility awards, only legs toward titles will be counted. It will be retroactive, to include those veterans who won in 2005, 2004, and 2003 (including Sept-Dec 2002). The scoring will be based on the same sliding scale as the Denia Award, with 8 points for a 100, down to 1 point for an 85.
